The Classy USB transcription foot pedal is a smaller, lighter, less expensive alternative USB foot pedal. It is fully compatible with Express Scribe and most other transcription sofware. It weighs in at a mere 1.22lb (557g) compared to other USB foot pedals that weighs 2.17lb (985g) or more. It is also has a shorter profile (1" compared to 1.75" other USB Foot Pedals) making it perfect for the mobile transcriptionist. It has three lightly textured pedals (forward, rewind and play) providing a slip resistant foot surface and a layout consistent with transcription industry standards.The Classy USB foot switch has two rubber pads on the bottom of the base to prevent it from moving around on the floor while being used by even the most intense transcriptionist. Most importantly, the Classy USB foot pedal is fully compatible with Express Scribe and many other transcription software programs that support USB-1 foot pedals. It is fully plug-and-play with Windows XP and Windows Vista. No drivers disks are required. Simply plug it in, configure your transcription software and transcribe away.
